Gooseneck Talkback Mic?
Any suggestions for (or against) a cheap gooseneck mic to use as talkback on a Venue Profile surface?

Re: Gooseneck Talkback Mic?
Not sure of pricing but we always used these,
http://www.akg.com/site/products/pow...nguage,EN.html you have to supply your own gooseneck. I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives though Scott |

Re: Gooseneck Talkback Mic?
Not a cheap solution but I've tried several talkback mics and I settled on an AKG CGN523E. It has a hypercardioid pattern so it's great for rejecting a lot of the ambient sound. The others I tried always killed my band and vocalists who wear IEMs. It also has enough length to get the mic close to you if you mix seated.
