Default Batch Add Timecode to Clip Name?

Hi.

Does anyone know if there is a way to batch rename my clips to include the timecode in the clip name?

This would be extremely helpful.

Thanks!

No.
Regular Expression (regex) is supported but it doesn't pull down fields from files (or the timeline) so you can't substitute it in the clip name.

This is something that's been asked for since other DAWs support it. (fields including timecode embedded or current, marker names, track names, session names, current date/time, etc.)

Two things: Don't know if this would help, but maybe you already know you can display clip times in the clip name in the timeline: "View" menu -> Clip. Also, one could probably build a macro to do this in Soundflow (if somebody hasn't already done it for you). EDIT: doesn't look like such a shortcut exists in SF, but I bet you could come up with a way...
