Maybe an alias would work, too...

Hey guys, thanks for the response. I'm still waiting to hear from Sounds On Line but if that worked can I then delete the folder on my C: drive to gain back that space? Like 30GB.

I asked them the same question but you got back to me faster. My external GLYPH drive is much larger and I just don't want to use up space if I don't have to on my C: drive. I never realized that I was supposed to load my sampled sounds on a different drive. I may have to move some other stuff around if it is as easy as cut and pasting. Thanks again.

Copy & paste not cut...Be sure its good 1st; if u cut, then u gotta take extra steps if its not the "rite move"...

Gotcha. Thanks Keebee. Loved your Mix Presser by the way. Very cool.

FWIW, I'm having a problem where I can play the notes on SCREEN, but PLAY doesn't see my MIDI controller (which every other VI sees fine) at all

nor does it play pasted MIDI on its track

and the MIDI tab in SETTINGS is greyed out
changing the MIDI channel on the player has no effect

thanks

In the mix window make sure that you can see your instrument window at the top of the track.. open your midi output selector and see where it's assigned. Check that it matches the output channel of your VI.

MIDI "output selector" WHERE?

thanks

changing the MIDI channel on PLAY doesn't seem to make any diff

and the basic MIDI set up in PT is fine because everything ELSE works
