Default Touch strip behavior

Hi - wondering about the horizontal and vertical touch strip behavior on the Dock; both of them seem to simply mirror whatever the Jog wheel is set to - I know we can program the four touch areas on each of them, but is there any way to control the behavior of them as sliders? It would be really useful, for example, if the horizontal one just scrolled horizontally and the vertical one scrolled vertically (or zoomed horizontally and vertically, respectively). Is it possible? If so, what am I missing in Eucon? If not...well, why not? ;-)

thanks!

I have brought this up to the development team a couple of times. Hopefully this will happen soon.

Thanks Lynn - so I guess the answer is that I'm not missing anything. This would be a great convenience, and the way it works now is kinda silly.

thanks!

Same. I'd love to use them for session navigation.

Pretty sure the hardware is not multitouch - but if it is: Pinch to zoom, finger to scroll both Horiz and Vert would be amazing!
