Where did you find the list of bug fixes? It's not in the 'what's new' pdf.

Looks like Avid Link was installed again, so I'm going to try and remove that and see if things change.
After several restarts, moving of plugins, etc., uninstalling both Avid Link and Cloud Client Services seems to have done the trick for me; Pro Tools loads more quickly than it ever did now.

I turned off Dark Mode; too little contrast in the theme.

My install actually went fast and first few launches also loaded pretty fast, but then last launch took forever and then everything started lagging, really strange behaviour

So I uninstalled Pro Tools 2020.11 and installed Pro Tools 2020.9 (where the hell can I find 2020.9.1? can anyone please send me a DMG file?).
Now with Pro Tools 2020.9 installed, everything runs as it did before.
Pro Tools 2020.11 was the last thing I installed before everything started lagging.

iMac Pro
MacOS Mojave 10.14.6
I sent you a PM on this about the file in question.

I installed the HD Driver (for my HD Native PCI-e card) on my 2009 MacPro (running OS 10.14.6, flashed to be a 5,1) and it took 35 minutes for my Mac to fully reboot, and launch all of the menubar apps. I'm running diagnostics on the computer, but sounds like serious no bueno.

There are reports from Mac users tonight of very slow machines which is suspected to be linked (somehow) to the Big Sur release. People are unable to download the update, but people who are not even attempting are having slow Mac's. I am experiencing this too. PT was running fine and then, an hour later, my Mac is running dead slow. No idea how this would affect people but users are finding issue goes away if they disconnect from the internet....

Just thought I would post this info (got in on the Mac Rumours site).

Please elaborate? Why don't they list all bug fixes then, but only a selection?

And, no, definitely not 'immediately'. I have been struggling with AVID for years. They seem incompetent on all accounts and progress is terrifyingly slow.

MacOS Mojave on my Mac Mini 2018 is totally ruined after installing Pro Tools 2020.11. I’m trying to put back a Time Machine backup right now, which will take 2 hours. I have a Focusrite 18i20 3rd gen btw, so no HD driver is installed. But I use Eucon for my Artist Control though.

Before installing PT2020.11 it ran fine on PT2020.5. Pro Tools, Adobe Creative Cloud, Streamdeck, et cetera. After installing I could open PT 2020.11 though it was very slow and the Video Engine crashed, so I decided to reboot the system. Then it barely loaded the usual software at startup and Safari was probably the only thing I could load (after waiting for a couple of minutes). PT Prefs crashed, Firefox crashed. Also tried Safe Mode but same behavior and crashes.

I managed to remove Avid Link and Eucon in the end, but it didn’t matter. Still sluggish and slow. Like you want to run Pro Tools on a Pentium II with just 16MB RAM. Besides some freaky software installations on Windows back in the day I never experienced such an OS killer.

Hopefully my back from Time Machine will work
