Indeed! My Structure Database is still plagued with this insistent pest.

It's a horribly annoying bug that should be easy to fix. But Digi is sleeping...

I just did a search and it seems that issues with the database side of structure are certainly documented. This includes a few posts from Digi Tech Support. It looks like they are aware that there are problems but the next step is to get an update from AIR. I'd be willing to bet that if there's going to be any updates you won't see them until January around the NAMM show.

I personally stay away from it (the database) because it's never really worked correctly but until there's an update I wouldn't expect anyone from Digidesign to jump in with a fix.

When it's new and untainted, it works great. Type in "piano" and you'll get every piano-based sound, which is what I want. But yes, it's broken, and Digi knows, and they won't chime in until they fix it. But WHEN will that be? I don't see why they'd need to wait until NAMM - it's not a feature-based release but a bug fix.

Precisely and I see that Digi are looking at fixes for supported third party import formats, so hopefully the Database is inclusive.

I'm looking into getting some specific information from the AIR group on these issues and will respond as soon as possible.

Eric Lambert - you mentioned that emails went unanswered. When did you send your request and which email address did you use? I'm assuming you used the Tech Support Request Form, yes?

Mmmmm I have a similar trouble with my new Structure.... I´ve installe the first DVD in the Sistem Hard Drive and the other 4 DVD in the External Hard Drive, Structure found the informatión...

but i don´t know how to use the big files... Somebody Knows, because Digi, and my Dealer Won´t help me about it.

I want to know if the patches installed in the Structure Installer, Uses the information of the Big files of the five DVD, or if I can use the big files to create new patches, I´m confused.

I need more information from Digi about structure...

I´m agree with you about it.

Regards

A good place to start would be Chapter 4 of the Structure Plug-In Guide.

i Just want to know if I can be able to create new patches using de Encrypted files... Or they are exclusives for the patches created by structure in the instalation...

Regards...

Paul.

Right, no, they're 'Copy Protected', Paul.
