Default Control 24 loss of Faders "possible power supply problem"?

Last night during a session, with paying clients over my shoulder, I lost control of my faders. In a blink of an eye. Most other controls seem to operating OK. Now that I have stayed up late and looked here I realize that this may be a power supply problem. I have 2 problems/questions. In trying to resolve this I tried to re-initialize the C-24 this caused me to loose ALL interaction between the C-24 and ProTools. CAN THIS BE REVERSED? and (2) Assuming that this is the power supply that started the original problem, how does Digi deal with this. It is under warantee. But I have already lost a decent night's work so far and I'm blocked out (barring this) for the next 1.5 wks with these people and I don't want to loose their business.
Any help or responses will be very greatfully recieved.
Thank You - Kevin Scott (MuseWorks INC)

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Tanked faders is most likely a PS issue.
If it's under warranty, you're golden, Digi will ship out a new power supply over night and the install takes an hour or so, depending on your ability to follow printed directions and your fine motor skills. Even when the C24 goes out of warranty, the PS is "only" $150. Not bad if you ask me.

What IS bad, however, is their failure rate.

Besides the DUC rule of posting anything one time and in one place, there really was no good reason to add to this 17 year old thread
