Noises from my 867!

Hi all,

I experience a strange noise which seems to come from the speaker at the front of my 867 even when I have the headphone out going to my desk. This happens when the extensions are loading and it is always just before the sound extension comes up. Also sometimes after I reboot the machine it's fan is super noisy rebooting while other times it is not, it does settle down after a while though. Neither of these issues are effecting my music but I would just like to iron them out if possible. My system is:
Digi001, adaptec 2906, 628mb ram running slimed down extensions, DP3 and Pro Tools(though PT less and less)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
