Only one Windows report where there was no pop up, but there was a hiccup when autosaving.

That's correct - increasing the Auto save to 5 Min simply made the problem occurs every 5 minutes. To get through my mission critical work last night I turned off Autosave to get through (though it's still an issue with every manual save.) Turned it back on today as Autosave really protects my clients assets (and my integrity!) LOL

Same thing happening over here. Tough to put my finger on when the problem begins happening, but as soon as I have more than a few instances of ARA melodyne then I start getting the error at every save.

I'm a chronic "cmd+s" key command person. So this is a big problem for me.

Depending on the amount of tracks you need to tune, and the length of the session, at this point it's a toss up whether this new ARA integration actually is better or worse for productivity.

I am having the same issues. It is always saving and impeding on my workflow.
I might need to downgrade to the previous version of Pro Tools.

I've also opened a case with Support and was able to demonstrate our issues to technician Chris. I'll report back what I learn...

Really annoying that you can pop out for lunch, come back, go to hit play and it *immediately* does a "Saving ARA Data". It's like, what the hell's it been doing for the last hour when I haven't been here?!

Avid is aware of this issue and are working on a fix for the next release. Meanwhile, you are still free to use Melodyne as an insert like before(IOW, you are not forced into using the ARA version)
