NI and AAX

As shown in the AAX plugin list there's already several NI vi's that are AAX. Has there been anything from NI to indicate that they're working on AAX versions of the rest of their stuff? Would really like to see Kontakt 5 go AAX.

We are currently preparing to develop AAX versions of other current products.

No doubt Kontakt is on the list.

I'd imagine it would be called K6 by then though, since there's some functionalities in AAX they could take advantage of that were not present in RTAS, or so Avid states there is,

Komplete owners get Transient Master and Vintage compressors today as a free extra, and whaddaya know, there's an AAX plug in there. Good stuff NI

I got the Transient Master email notification yesterday but nothing yet on the Vintage Compressors. I know they released the VC collection in the last day or so as I got an email notification from their YouTube channel talking about it but nothing for us Komplete owners. Maybe it's coming later today? I wonder though if it's tied to which version of Komplete one has - I just have the regular version and not the Ultimate. Maybe only Ultimate owners get the VC collection?

Something I don't understand about the VC Collection: is that a plugin available outside of NI/Kontakt or just inside Kontakt? Or both?
Edit: scratch the last question(s). Found out it's usable as a standalone effect. And it's AAX. And if I'm not eligible for it as a freebie I have a $30 US voucher for the NI store and the collection is half price until the 25th of this month.

NI gets two big thumbs up here. I liked the VC Collection before but having to load them in GTR5 was extremely annoying. They can now be instantiated like any other plugin (without GTR5), have a great new look, sound great, are AAX, and again I got the updates for free.

New plugs are really useful (on an aside yesterdays Metric Halo Thump freebie is a must have AAX especially for us electronic producers)

The day's of NI horrendous PT integration are along time ago now thank the lord.

New AAX Massive and Reaktor work efficiently and just feel more stable, and i've had a lot less crashes since using these. Subject to the old PT-problem-with-VI's limitations of course. Another aside - the new AAX Vienna Ensemble seems to work better than the RTAS if that's possible, seems to save quicker within the session meaning less spinning balls. All pointing towards AAX being a great format at last.

Now can we pressure NI to do some audiosuite versions of Guitar Rig, Reakor etc?

Thanks for the confirmation, as sad as it is. I just have Komplete 8 (not Ultimate) so no free plugs. Further bummer - I have a $30 US voucher for their store and it's not usable on the VC collection that's half price until the 26th of November. Would have been neat to get that low a price. I tried using the coupon/voucher and the page told me I couldn't because it was considered an upgrade/update which it isn't for me as a non-Ultimate user.

Side question: is their emulation of the SSL 4000 bus compressor any good? Might go for that one if it is. Don't think the web page says who does that. Would be nice if it was Softube.
