Midi Export bug in OSX
Hi Digi,
exporting midi under 6.4 OSX creates a file that has no extension to (.mid). Workaround is to put this in manually, but would be much nicer just to have the '.mid'. If you try to import these midifiles (without workaround) ProTools don't want to import them.....

Re: Midi Export bug in OSX
Hi,
Exporting MIDI files does not append the .mid extension if Mac/PC compatibility is not checked when creating the original session. There are two ways you can workaround this: 1. When you are trying to import the midi file into a session you can select Show: MIDI and change this to Show: All Documents in the import Midi dialog and then you can choose your Midi file and import it. 2. When you are exporting the Midi file you can type the name and add the .mid extension and save it. This will allow Pro Tools to see the file and import it. Thanks, Digidesign Tech Support |
