Internal or External Video Card?
So my MacPro has 2 identical video cards and it's worked well for ADR work. I love the fact that I can connect 4 monitors, mirror 2 or 3 of them, and occasionally, expand the desktop for some other chores as well.
But today Apple has announced the new MacPros(just faster processors...) and I'm trying to decide whether to invest in a 2nd video card as before, some other 3rd party Avid supported video card, or some kind of external video box for picture playback. Am open to suggestions... what solutions are working the best with some degree of flexibility? |

Re: Internal or External Video Card?
I might go with a BM card but I wouldn't wast the space on a second Vid card.
I would use a DA or matrix switcher for mirroring If the new Mac Pros had had Thunderbolt port I may have recommended that but they don't
