i'm installing 002 rack at the moment but i don't get any sound through windows media player (9 i think, just downloaded). For shure i did something stupid somewhere. Should i uninstall the wave driver? Another question. Is it wise to have, the system propperly running, the computer on internet ? I have no internet connection in the studio it self......I thought when it runs nice its better not being connected.. Sorry, i'm just Dutch Tuur |

Re: windows media player
Start WMP, On the Menu, Click Tools---> Options , Select DEVICES and then Select Speakers. With SPEAKERS Selected click Properties. On Sound Playback drop down menu, select the Device that you want to use and PRONTO.
Hope it helps

Re: windows media player
Hello
I have not downloaded WMP 9 because each time I did it bogged down my computer. When I follow these instructions I get to the DEVICES and the only devices in the box are my 2 CD roms. There is no SPEAKER option there.I was wondering how to get WMP to play through my monitors as well since this thread has been started.Thanks. DJ

Re: windows media player
From the WaveDriver 6.1.1 download page.. download MME Helper and make sure that Windows Media Player (wmplayer.exe) is in the opt-in list in the registry.

Re: windows media player
I'm using a digi 001 and I tried the configuration for running wmp through my monitors. I was playing a cd and it worked at first but my k-4's were clipping and there isn't any kind of digital clipping happening before i send the audio to the speakers. then i tried to play some mp3s and it didn't work at all, just went back to my speakers even though the configuration for playing through the monitors is still set for the 001. Now, playing the cd over again, it doesn't work through the monitors even after redoing the config. I'm freakin' confused. Any help would be great. It would be ideal to have both speakers to be configured for it too
