Default trimming multiple regions

Hi,
Is there a way to trim multiple regions in pro-tools?
When i select a few regions, and try to trim it'll only trim the region that i'm clicking on...

I also trying doing it using loops, but couldn't succed (problem is i'm not that familiar with loops...)

Any idea on how to acheive it?

Thanks.

If the regions are on separate tracks you could make a region group, and then trim.

Default in the same track

no, they are in the same track, and i'm talking about 50-100 regions (rythmic) - that are all in the same length, and i want to trim them all together....

thanks again.

The only thing I can think of doing is to keep original track, drp the other 50-100 regoins to different tracks. Let's say use 25 tracks and drag 25% of the regions left into these empty tracks, THEN regoing group each section and do what Stig says, Region group, trim the four sets of audio and then put it back, after ungrouping the four regions.

I know it's the long way around the barn but it's one of those catch 22 situations. Whatever works fastest.

Whatever key you hold to select multiple regions, also hold that key while you use the trim tool.
