Default Digi 002 & Logic 5.5 on Windows XP

Hello everyone!

I had a question and if you can help me.. I love you.

I'm going to buy a DIGI 002 (YES!!!!!), but I was wondering if the Digi 002's control surface can be used with Emagic Logic Platinum 5.5 on Windows XP.

I know it is compatible with Logic on OSX using the CoreAudio, but I was wondering if there's anything for the Digi 002, Logic Platinum, and Windows XP.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Doug

I am curious too!
Also can we sync the PT and Logic up on one machine? I can do this with mac on a TDM system.

The control surface only works with Pro Tools under any platform. The audio I/O can be used with Logic using the ASIO driver.

thanks for the response.

i'm still getting the 002 anyway. i was just interested if there was anything like CoreAudio for windows xp, but i guess not.

Oh well. I still like to use Logic for my instrumental mixdowns and PTLE for my vocal recordings & mastering. I don't mind mouse-clicking in Logic for now at least. I'll have the 002 for PTLE, so that's a beautiful thing.

Thanks again.

peace.

ASIO and WaveDriver are the same as Core Audio is on the Mac. You can use your 002 I/O with Logic using ASIO, just as you would on the Mac with Core Audio.
