My question was not inteded as a joke. sorry I missed the Alesis monitors in the middle of a paragraph. Consider a second set of monitors as part of your next purchase plan would be my suggestion.

i didn't even notice the alesis. you're right, he does need new monitors (quested f11's? dynaudio bm6a's?). i just thought it funny someone suggesting spending another round of cash after what he just finished plonking down.

I disagree. If he could 'hear' the problems with the vocalmaster...and the silkyness of the Avalon...

...then he's in like flint. My advice, don't buy into it...track like there's no tomorrow.
