Gurus,

I'm running Win7 (64 bit) and PT HD 11.1.3 and when I start recording I'm receiving error
(Avid OMNI)



I have search the DUC community and I have seen a lot of the same problems....but is there any solution ?

Anyone tried to change the firmware version ?

From the Avid Digitest I can see that I'm running on a
Firmware version = 2.10
FPGA = 23
Board = REV A

Yes, now it's running more stabile....

I deleted the Pro Tools preference folder:

Go to C:\Users\*user name*\AppData\Roaming\Avid and delete the Pro Tools folder.

Then I optimized:

...setting the "Background services" in the Advanced tab helped me.

The Trasher app in my signature can automate the process of deleting the prefs and such for you along with a bunch of other perks.
