Default More than plugin window at a time?

I have lots of plugins RTAS and VST and I would like sometimes to keep more than one window open at a time.

For example, when feeding a side chain to a compressor from a bus that has been preprocessed with a filter. I'd like to be able to tweak the filter while observing the effect on the compressor.

In my setup I can only seem to have one plugin window open.

Anybody know how to keep multiple plugin windows open.

Thanks!

There is a red square button in the top right corner of the plug in window click on that and then click on the other plug you wish to have open.
