translator demo nothing happens

I would like to try the translator demo and push the "try it" button when PT starts , but nothing happens.

When I push the next button, it ask for a hardware key, but honestly, there were no hardware key in the box when i bought PT LE

If you press Try It, it enables it, but nothing exciting is supposed to happen. You now have a 15 day trial of DigitTranslator, but it's no use to you unless you try to import or export OMF files. To see if it's working, make a regular Pro Tools session, then under the file menu either Bounce to Disk and the OMF options should be available, or export tracks as OMF.

Ahhh, okey, thanks.

But No option comes up for import audio from OMF, which is what I intended to do.

Does the transloator demo only export to OMF ?

You should be able to do the open session command from the file menu, find an OMF file and Digitranslator will automatically convert and open it as a Pro Tools session (assuming the OMF file contains sufficient data). You cna also use the Import Tracks command from the File menu or the Import Audio command from the Audio Region bin menu to bring in OMF files/data into your Pro Tools session.
