Default Problem With Last Track

Hi All,

I have an annoying problem with PT LE 5.1. When I drag regions down to the bottom track they seem to "disappear". They just won't move to that bottom track properly. It happens when I am in large sessions nearing the 24 tack point. Sometimes hiding some other tracks helps. Sometimes changing positions of the bottom track works as a workaround. But has anyone else seen this sort of behaviour? What's up?

I have tried, but cannot reproduce this behavior. Does this happen with all sessions?

If not, perhaps you should try to import the tracks into a new session (File>Import Tracks) and see if the behavior persists.

If so, is there any specific sequence of steps that might allow us to replicate this issue?

Brent

Hi Brent,

Thanks for your response. No, it doesn't seem to happen all the time. Would the fact that the lowermost track is part of a group be a possible cause? I'm not certain if that is consistently the case when it happens. I'll check more carefully what the exact circumstances are next time.

Importing tracks is one possible workaround, but there are often markers involved in the session that I don't want to lose. I have been able to work around it when it has happened by juggling the track positions and hide/show status.
