Default Using Cubase 4.1 with Digi 001 midi&audio?

For some reason I cannot get midi and audio to work in Cubase. If you setup OMS to work with the 001 it will not initilize the audio.
Can anyone tell me what to do to fix this

Did you enable the inputs?

Panels -> VST Inputs.

i too am having troubles with the 001 and cubase. i can play audio that already exists on my drive with no problem at all - all the outputs & buses are available and fully operational. I CANNOT, however, get cubase to allow recording. i suspect it may be my fault, but i feel like i have covered most all the possiblities. i am simply not getting a signal when a channel is record enabled and selected. what might i be overlooking?

Check Steinberg's latest revision (as of a few days ago) Cubase 4.1.1c or something!

i did mak sure all the inputs were activated and an audio track was "record
enabled". still cannot get a signal into VST. Have no problem with
playback of audio, including all the bus routings and plug-in routing as
well.....
