Default Problem with M-Audio Fast Track C400

Hello everybody! I'm completely new in this community but I have tried to find here the solution to my problem, and I couldn't. So, I don't think it will be a repeted thread.

Well, the problem I have is that after using Pro Tools MP 9.0.5, when I try to listen to any other sound using iTunes, You Tube, Groove Shark or any other program or site, everything works fine at first, but after a few seconds there's a lot of distorsion and noise, and then it stops making any sound. Intermittently some sound still distorted and noisy is heard, but after 2 or 3 seconds stops. Pro Tools MP always works fine and has no problems. This happens since I changed my table, and before everything worked fine. I have installed the latest drivers for my M-Audio Fast Track C400; I have uninstalled everything and reinstalled; I have tried on another computer and I have the same problem.

So, please, if any one knows what could be the problem, or anything else I can try, just tell me. It's driving me crazy...

Try to downgrade to older driver. There is a bug in 1.1.5 driver.
Helped me.

I read part of the other thread and I thought it was all about the unplugging/plugging issue.
I first tried to increase the buffer size, but nothing happened, the problem was still there. Than I installed the older driver and BOOM! Everything is working fine. I can't believe there's a bug in the new driver when the older one was working fine...
Thanks a lot Proto-type!!!
