Midi Sync Question - MPC 2000
Good Afternoon,
I was in the studio last week trying to midi sync my MPC 2000 with a windows based protools set up. I have used Apple based Protools to sync many times with no problem however the engineer and I could not figure out how to get this rolling. Can someone tell me what I should be looking for in protools to see what could possibly be the problem because the MPC was receiving no signals at all it seems. I tried midi clock and time code (30 frames). Thanks!!! Absolut!! |

Re: Midi Sync Question - MPC 2000
I had a mpc 2000xl with protools. I think u have to go to the misc page or midi page on your mpc 2000 and then enable the midi clock to recieve. Im not sure though its been a while cause I switched to a mpc 1000. But once you do that you should be able to go to the midi tab in protools and go to midi beat clock then enable midi beat clock for the device
