Default Have you seen this Clip Gain bug?

With every PT HD update I check to see if this bug is fixed as I've been dealing with it for years. Here's the scenario (I work in Post, so I run into this after importing OMFs or AAFs):

If various clips have clip-gain applied, I might want to see the full, nominal, waveform and "zero" everything out, so from the Edit Menu I choose Automation > Convert Clip Gain to Volume Automation. (Coalesce has the same bug).

For clips that had Clip Gain at LOWER than 0: If you show volume automation and zoom all the way in on the end of the clip, you see the new volume doesn't continue to the end of the clip -- there's a 1 frame ramp to 0 volume, which often causes a loud tick or pop.

Pics attached.

I see a 1 SAMPLE ramp, Win 7 , PT 11.3.1.
And funnily, with the track set to Ticks prior coalescing, there is no ramp.

Sorry - yes, it's one SAMPLE, not a frame.

Thanks for checking on Windows. Interesting info about the Ticks setting. I can confirm the same behavior in Yosemite.
