Can't Copy and Paste Automation

Hi all.

This is driving me absolutely bonkers. Whenever i get to the end of a large complex session I convert all instrument tracks to audio. I create new audio tracks, bus them, and apply the requisite shortcuts on both tracks (command A, then command C then command A and command V on new track to copy and paste).

All of a sudden, snap. I can't do it. If I create a new audio track, when I go to select all (command A) it only selects a tiny fraction at the beginning of the track (!?!?!). And if I record anything on the track, it'll select the track you to the recording when I press command A, and nothing more, then won't copy anything across from the instrument track when I copy and paste it.

It just seems completely ridiculous........Standstill in the meantime....

I have problems copying automation too

There really do seem to be some bugs in the new 10.3.56 upgrade around copying instrument tracks to audio. I've previously posted a related problem here (http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?p...36#post2040336).

This current problem really seems to revolve around an inability of the new upgrade to select all of a track's automation. When you go to volume and 'select all' it now only selects a tiny fragment at the beginning, as I've said previously. In all other versions of Protools it selected all of the track. I've probably done it several thousand times over the last year alone on PT 9 and earlier versions of 10....
