Hi
Things have been running smoothly until yesterday. PT freezes during the "loading plug-ins" portion of the startup. (It seems to stop at a different plug-in each time, so I can't tell if one in particular is the cause). Yesterday I trashed the related preferences, zapped the P-RAM, and got PT to launch, but today I'm running into the same problem. I'm running PT 5.1 on a 733mh G4, with a d24 card and vintage farm card..Help!

If you are actually using PT version 5.1, you should start by downloading and installing the free update to 5.1.1. Version 5.1 is older than your computer and was not tested on it.

Thanks. It is actually PT 5.1.1. Any ideas?

Remove all third party plug-ins from the System Folder DAE Folder>Plug-Ins folder and relaunch Pro Tools.

-If it launches, start installing the plug-ins back into the folder, one at-a-time until the culprit is isolated.

-If problems persist, then replace DAE with a fresh copy.
