Onboard video/sound a critical thing, or not???
I'm buying a computer system to run a Digi002, and am wondering how important the graphics and sound issues are to the system. Is it a problem to use onboard graphics and video, or will it hamper system performance? Should I invest in decent/good cards? Also, the difference between agp and pci; both work, but which is better?
Many thanks, Dave |

Re: Onboard video/sound a critical thing, or not???
if possible stay away from onboard video
PCI AGPis still your best bet for stability but PCI-e seems fine aswell. stay away from PCI video. PCI-X is NOT the same as PCI-e, technician you need to do your homework. onboard sound doesnt matter as you wont be using it for ProTools |
