Default Virtual Instruments under the tab "Audio suite"

Hi, from what I ask you will understand that I am new to Pro Tools Studio
I have a problem with 2 virtual instruments, Addictive Keys (XLN Audio) and Handy Drums (GoranGroves) that after installation I found under the AudioSuite > Instrument tab. Both do not work, they do not emit any sound. I have not understood how I can make them play. The other virtual instruments I load on the instrument track via the "Insert" slot and in any case when I open them they emit sounds. These two do not. Can someone help me?
I have a PC with Pro Tools Studio and an MBOX Studio audio interface.
Thanks.
Guty

Ciao

The most likely problem where virtual instruments are not showing up on an instrument track is those VIs are stereo only so require a stereo virtual instrument track and you likely have a mono instrument track.

Audio suite is the totally wrong place to be looking for anything here. I can't imagine any reason somebody would want an audio suite instrument, especially not with modern workflows and freeze/commit.

Ciao Darryl, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I'm not expert enough to know why these VIs installed themselves in that location (Audio Suite). Maybe I should uninstall them and try installing them differently? Any advice on this?

With the stereo track it seems the problem is solved, thank you

Glad you have things working. Having said that, it would never have occurred to me to even try to use a virtual instrument plugin as AudioSuite.
