Default BlackMagicDesigns DeckLink Studio
Has anyone gotten the BlackMagicDesigns DeckLink Studio card to output video on an external monitor in ProTools v10.3.3 on a Windows system? BlackMagic Designs has Windows drivers for this card, but ProTools doesn't seem to recognize it.
My reseller says that it is supported and should work. But so far no luck.
The BlackMagicDesigns utility outputs video fine.

No pro tools does not support anything but mojo or mojo sdi for video playback

Hard to tell if they're supported on PT11. Webby site doesn't say yes or no, just implies... anybody tried one with the new video engine on Win 7?

Yes, Intensity Pro is good with Win 7 and PT 11.0.1

Hi guys,

as I read that you got the Intensity Pro to work, may I ask if you did something special?
I am setting up a new PC (Win7 ultimate 64Bit) and first installed Quicktime, then the Blackmagic Intensity card (Driver 9.7.7) and now I have installed PT HD11 but the weird thing is, as long as I have no session opened, I can see the "Enable/Disable video hardware" function greyed out. With an open session these two function have gone and I am not able to use the Intensity video out. I reinstalled ProTools twice and have tried out different PCIe Slots for the Blackmagic Card.

So maybe you have a hint for me?

PS:
Meanwhile I solved the problemby myself. Had to reinstall the Blackmagic drivers AFTER installing Protools 11.0.2 and running PT as admin!
