Re: move selected track faders without grouping?
Not without a control surface. You can make a group for a move and then disable or delete the group pretty quickly

Re: move selected track faders without grouping?
Yes.
(You will have to make a VCA group, but it can be set to not enabled, and you can still move all faders with the VCA fader. Like; move all w/VCA - next second, move only one of the faders in the group separately.) VCAs are also extremely useful for solo/mute in big sections quickly.

Re: move selected track faders without grouping?
If you want the VCA automation to live on the individual tracks you’ll need to coalesce the VCA track automation.

Re: move selected track faders without grouping?
thank you everyone.
Though I just tried highlighting each track in Logic and Studio One , and I could move the faders altogether. Without having to group them or use VCAs. Cant seem to get this to work in Pro Tools! ? |

Quote:
Doesn't work in PT. I guess it's because PT originated from a kind of console/multitrack emulation, while most other DAWs came from a sequencer perspective. You can't link tracks together on a console, well you can… using VCAs.

Re: move selected track faders without grouping?
Another old feature request. Many DAWs and consoles have a temporary group feature to let you quickly adjust multiple faders or channel parameters. It would be really nice in PT.

If you use Lounges on Avid Link (Aghast!!)...
Go to the Feature Requests and search for VCA, Upvote it. I made a "formal" request for this
