003 R+: Quit PT, open CoreAudio Manager = no sound!! (><) SOLVED

Hi, please advise me, I'm experiencing a little problem here and I'm not sure how I should go about resolving it.

Once I've finished with a PT session, how do i reactivate/re-engage the CoreAudio Manager, to play sounds from other CoreAudio applications?

When I manually relaunch the utility it'll either tell me the HW isn't detected or it's still in uses.. yet no applications are open. I can resolve this by switching the rack on/off but I don't think it'll be very healthy in the long run. Is it? Then it'll tell me it's found the hardware.. and still I can't get any sound out!! What's wrong?

So far, the only way I can get it to work, is to restart the whole system.. but once I've been in and out of PT, I'm back to square one again. Could anyone have any ideas please?

Bahhh... I solved it.

Launch the CoreAudio Manager Utility make sure the system control panel is completely closed. Once the CoreAudio Manager has finished utilising, launch the system control panel and switch the output to the 003... only after should I launch any applications..
