Default i/o Spare Parts??

My good old 96io interface front panel switch is broken.
I need a replacement part.
Were can I get a replacement part?

Not sure where you would get the part. Probably have to contact a dealer and hope they could help, but not likely.

Does it power up? If so, maybe just put it on a power strip to turn it on and off.

What actually is broken is only the plastic extension of the button.
The switch itself is working.
I was lucky to find a plastic pen (in the right width)and made an extension out of it so I can press the button from the original place in the front panel.
I was surprised to find out there is no place (searching the web) to find any parts for avid legacy products.

As said, don't bother. Leave it on and if you need to power it down unplug the power cord.

Mine have all been on a power strip for a good 7 years. Never an issue. Good luck getting parts on hardware that's 12-15 years old and hasn't been supported for several years(but hey, you never know). If the above doesn't pan out, try allproelectronics.com(out of Nashville)
