Default Shorten project time?Bounce files 2 Long...

I dont always have this problem but when I do its very annoying. Most of my tracks are less than 3 minutes but when I go to bounce them to a wav files it always ends up being like 8 to 10 minutes long. How can I set the correct time so the files arent so long and large?

Make a selection of the appropriate time length in your session before you bounce.

Longer than usual session lengths usually means that you have material, either audio data, MIDI data, or automation data that extends your session to that particular point in time. You might want to try selecting and deleting everything after your session material.

i'm having a similar problem except i am selecting a portion of a track and it's bouncing the length of the entire project. i thought once a portion was selected, this was all that would be bounced. any thoughts? i'm about to throw my computer out the window...
