SSL big console interface

Anyone here have any experience with that 12 fader SSL interface? wanna buy one but not if buggy

Hmmm, I would have thought by now that somebody would have offered some experience. Let me suggest you might consider another route. Instead of that console, what about staying with your current interface(or one of several much less expensive options with more IO) and then adding the SSL UF8/UC1/UFC package of controllers. The price is similar(I think) and that gets you the SSL sound(with the plugin package) plus a lot more versatility for control over your sessions. If you haven't checked these out, there are several youtube videos showing this package in action. If I were a lot earlier in my studio evolution, I would give it serious consideration(currently just not investing in gear). Food for thought

We hado e here just for trial and fun and of course no bugs or such. Works and sounds line the SSL SiX but more i/o routing.

One thing I like is that it has 3 faders I can assign to Dialog Music SFX, with the mute buttons on the BOTTOM of the mixer/fader.......its just so quick to shut things on and off.......and I get a mic channel , to boot, cuz I do voice over stuff every few months.......I dunno, I dont do any mixing really , Im an editor/creator...........AND i get the monitor A/B section .......mono switch etc...I just seems to be the perfect setup for me.......Im hoping the software isnt buggy, and will be updating to the most stable PT ultimate soon....
