C/24 running logic pro
Hello, I have a HD I/O system running with an Avid C/24 desk that works perfect with Pro Tools Ultimate. As PT is new to me I have used Logic for the past 15 years. I am trying to run Logic with the HDX system. The problems I am having are: Logic records perfectly, but I have no monitoring. The other issue is the C/24 is setup as a 5.1 desk, therefore 1 and 3 is stereo out.
Thats an easy fix in PT as you just make the stereo outputs 1 and 3 in your I/O settings. Logic on the other hand is not that flexible, so the only way around it I’ve found is to put every track into surround sound to make it come out of both speakers in stereo…and you have to make sure the pan is in the centre or just above to hear it in stereo. Hopefully this makes some sense to solve? Thanks in advance
