Default Melodyne ARA data SHIFTED by itself
this is nuts. just worked on 8 tracks vocal tuning/timing in PT. saved... bounced a rough mix. all good.
a few days later i open up the same song, same rig and get a warning that SOME MELODYNE DATA MIGHT BE CORRUPT

then i start hearing vocals entering in strange places.
upon closer inspection, much of the melodyne data is there - but it just shifted.
the vocal audio appears to be in the same place, but the melodyne tuning data graphics are shifted to the right (see screenshot of a doubled vocal that was tuned, bottom one is correct, top one has SHIFTED). sorry hard to explain this crazy bug. but now i can't trust any PT MD edits anymore.

BEWARE integrated ARA melodyne users, this thing is not ironed out yet

anyone else seen this?

I've seen LOTS of this or very similar mention. Virtually common knowledge.

Many cite a workaround of consolidating the take and working on single clips, but yes, what you describe is certainly buggy implementation so far.

I've literally just run into this, in my case it's definitely something to do with tempo changes and the samples vs ticks. But not got any further with it.

Sorry just watched your video - excellent demonstration of what's going wrong. In my case I've consolidated the whole clip from bar 1(!) and that seems to have fixed my problem for now but I appreciate this isn't really a decent workaround.

I keep having the same issues over here and it is infuriating to have to lost all your melodyne progress and have to start over.

just happened again on a project that has no tempo changes.
worked on the song lots of melodyne edits, bounced a good sounding mix last night.
opened the same session this AM and its F'd.
everything Melodyne is wack and outta place.
went back to an older PT session and was able to recover some of it.

please fix this avid.
