Default Would you pay for driver updates?

Looks like the days are numbered for my Firewire 410.
Driver support has stopped at 10.7 so I will not have official drivers if I move to Mountain Lion.

HEre is mhy question, if you had to pay for drivers for legacy products, would you?

You know, this could be available good business opportunity for a developer, to take over aging products and sell updated drivers for older hardware.
I would pay $10-20 depending on the product. Considering the fact that the Firewire 410 is still better than all of the entry level USB devices on the market, paying $20 to be able to use it with new OSes does not seem unreasonable.
