Does anybody know if NI Battery will be availabe RTAS soon? hear it is very good and want to get good drum sounds into my system and understand this would be a good way to do it. I use 001 with G4. Any advice welcome thanks!

Yea,

I bugged them (Native Instruments) a while back, along with others, for the RTAS implementation. Hey at least they're going to do it and trying. Hopefully sooner than later.

I've given up all hope on NI. The first signs appeared with the overpriced Studio Collection bundle, their only RTAS compatible product for how many years now? What a joke.

The best thing NI could do, IMO, is release solid RTAS implementation of their products before Mach5 gets out and PT 6.1 with it's Rewire/NN-XT capability (although it's too late for that one). Should either of these two (or both) prove to be buggy in their first phase of PT integration, then I think NI have a golden chance to redeem themselves for such poor marketing decisions.

Use Propellerheads' RELOAD to put some badass old sample CDs into Reason, and Rewire it into PT 6.1...

It's TOO freakin' easy nowadays.
