Unhappy Pro Tools 8 M-Powered Not opening!!

Help please. I am on a (PC) for Windows XP. I have a Profire 610. and for some reason I can't get into Pro Tools 8 M-Powered. I click on the Profire 610 sound icon and it shows everything is being detected. But, when I go to click on Pro Tools icon...It starts to load and stops half and closes the window. Then it says "windows has encountered and error and need to shut down the program" Its really bugging me. I downloaded the latest driver and still does same problem. Thank you very much for your help.
