Default HPF side chain with mix buss waves SSL comp

Id like to try out using a HPF as a side chain on my mix bus waves SSL comp so all the bass and drums don't trigger the comp unnecessarily. I've never used a side chain before so I just wondered how I go about setting it up. I've google this but can seem to find the correct answer. Hope some one here can help
