One side Louder than other - Mix Buss?
Hi all:
• Macbook Pro 2.4 Ghz / 8GB Ram • PT9 / PT10 • OSX 10.6.8 • Orpheus Prism • Smart Research C2 I've put the C2 on a Bus over the entire mix but the L side is louder than the R side in the metering when the settings on the C2 are equal in 2 x mono mode or in stereo. If I take the C2 off the buss the L+R level are equal. If I put the i/o C2 over the buss then the L+R levels cease to be equal. So - adding an i/o insert brings the R side down 4db or more whilst the L side stays up towards 0db? What am I doing wrong. The same thing happens if I use a Valley People compressor. I'm using 7+8 outs and 7+8 ins. It's simple to patch in. I don't understand why the signal on one side goes down? Help please....... ------------------------------------------------------------- Sorted. a -10 pad was engaged on ch8 the Orpheus (crap beyond belief) software mixer.
