Default Bounce adds silence?

I noticed that after bouncing a mix down an additional 50 or so frames of silence were added onto the front end of the bounce file...is that something just on my 002 because it certainly doesnt happen on my Mix3 system...

Just wondering if there was anyway to fix it on the 002...thanks for your time

Jayson
