Pro Tools 2021.3 released

Yea just read up about the firmware prob is digi test is not seeing the card either so i am just re installing protools and then will try the hd driver again , and see if i get the firmware option it’s never a easy task lmao 😂

I've got 2021.3 running fine on a 5.1 Mac Pro w/Mojave. It forced an HDX card firmware update which gave me false hope that maybe they were finally adding more voices for HDX - not so...

I think I'm finally going to switch to Dark Mode. I wanted to love it when it came out but a lot of the contrast choices were impossible to see comfortably. Now it's improved 1000%. You can easily see waveform selections as good as in classic mode. The entire plugin open/closed/active/deactive/bypassed shading system is outstanding now.

Let's hope Hybrid mode for HDX isn't too far off. That should breathe some new life into the HDX cards. Still, I really don't think it should be a paid option after they basically announced and promised the voice increase for HDX, then never delivered.

Got them with grab app. They are fine but yes, once loaded into the forum they appear small.

Did a test on one machine with high sierra on an 5.1 2010 MacPro with High Sierra. No Metal Graph

Sessions load and play with no problem.
But I did not dive deeper now.

Can you put them on a freebie host and then link to them here? Doesn't look like they did anything with the title bars from the original dark mode.

Was one of the many that didn't like dark mode but this seems very improved to me... Especially when selecting clips! Glad they are listening. Lets see if any midi bugs are fixed!

This dark mode thing isnt really THE thing ! I don't like it ..... the classic mode is still the one

That would be nice; been bitching about the bugs in the MIDI event list for a while now.
