Default S3 needs update

I’m surprised Avid hasn’t updated the S3(S3mk2?) so it can integrate tablets like its other offerings.

Speaking of S3 updates. There are still some very obvious updates/features that are needed in terms of plugin control. I still find myself not bothering with the encoders for any plugin control because of the complete lack of mapping capability, or at the very least, obvious visual representation of parameters. I was once again reminded today (while working on the 2 most popular SSL Channel strip plugins) that half of the encoder presses or "In" buttons control parameters on the plugins. But you have NO way of knowing that, unless you have memorized the location of those parameters (or they were already engaged)... and what about the ability to have the gain and frequency knob for an EQ align vertically on both rows of encoders? Kind of like how 99% of hardware eq's are laid out. That would me mind blowing
