Default Has anyone noticed?

In PTLE 6.2.2 with Panther......

pop's and ping noises that are not on the waveform and that will appear and dissapear in a random way? They are in the same place for a while then after switching playlist or doing an edit and then returning they'll be gone?

Strange behavior.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this phenomenon?

Sounds like rather than a Panther problem a clock problem with your 48k hardware.

I/O setting will change when you install a new sytem. Check to see everything is the same as it was before.

No, I don't think it's a clock problem. Everything has been set back to the way it should be. It is strange though, 'cause I can stop and zoom in ans scrub the section and I'll hear the ping in the same place as if it were a spike in the waveform but I see nothing and then all of a sudden it will be gone after a modification of some type.

I've been a Protools opperator for 4 years now so the ususal setups and opperations have been applied. This is something different and not a huge problem ......yet, but a little concerning if it's a bug.

Have you upgraded to Panther, just haven't changed your signature yet? Just wondering, as OS 10.2.8 isn't Panther, it's Jaguar.

Nope, though I HAD some issues in 10.2.6 with digi 001 and G4, but with my current setup, no, it's not there!!
