Default I know, wrong place to ask, but help me anyway!

Please don't shoot me for asking a stupid question. It's about my new Mac. My superdrive is 4x, do I have to use 4x DVD-R disk only, or can I use 1x and/or 2x? Trying to save some money.

Also, can I use a RW disk?

Help a brother from another mother out here. I'll even take help from a sister from another mister.

yes you can use the other disk, the 4X is the MAX speed. Also, you should be able to use the RW, the format is in the disc, not the drive!
