Sonic Drop Plugins
I’m just wondering if there is an official statement on what writers and composers can document for music supervisors with regard to using any loops through the ProTools subscription service, including sonic drop, and other samples are provided included with the subscription?
For example, I presume that it’s OK to write original music on top of the samples and drum loops, but removing all the music and just using the loops or samples on their own would be a violation of our agreement under the subscription service. Is that correct? And is there a short statement writers and composers can add to the metadata, so as to inform and make crystal clear to music supervisors and other industry decision makers about song ownership? |
