Oh yeah? Any idea how?
I have 6 mono wav (24/96) to convert to a single 5.1 wav. Preparing for LPCM blu-ray authoring as well here. Too long for PT bounce engine (which has been fired by me anyway).
Audition claims to be able to do this...
DL'd the demo. What an unintuitive piece of work this is!
Remembering why I love PT so much!
Anyway... The manual says select View > Multichannel Encoder
This menu selection doesn't exist.
Yeah...
Batch process doesn't do it.

Anyone?

Oh my! $499 to combine 6 wav files into a single 5.1 wav!!!!! Um... no.

Someone help! I see free apps that split 5.1 files to mono but not the other way around.

Isn't Wave Agent capable of Combining your Mono files to an Interleaved file?

Snapper (audio ease) might do this.

I just tried splitting a surround clip into mutli mono and then combining back into a multichannel WAV and it worked beautifully. I don't know if they have a file size limit. Nevertheless, it has a free demo period and is a piece of cake to understand.

BR,
John
Thank you sir! I had not seen this and it is exactly what I was looking for. I might even start using it as a media player for surround program.
Hold on...
Lots of bugs in this unfortunately. The 5.1 files it muxes are not correct. May be something wrong with the interleave index. The monitor feature is only working in stereo. Beta? More like alpha.
