Access violation occured when opening movie files
First, i have searched the forums, and still cannot get quicktime to function. I was having the same problem as many of you with videos freezing for 30 seconds or so with quicktime 7 and the newest updates to protools m powered. I downgraded to 6.5.2 as someone suggested with quicktime, and now i cant open movies at all. Ive followed ALL the digidesign getting starting tips and system optimizations. Im at a total point of frustration as this limits the work i can do on this station. All other functions of protools work fine, ive never had any problems with it while doing mix sessions, using plugins ect, no crashes even. But video and quicktime has been an ongoing problem. . .

Re: Access violation occured when opening movie files
I'm having the exact same problem. I've tried just about everything I can think of... I even drained the resourceful minds of people much more experienced than I.
Please send me an email if you figure it out. [email protected]
