Default Pro Tools gets slower as day goes on

Something I realized of late as the days goes on for me that Pro Tools seems to get slower from the beginning of the day. I'm doing a lot of editing and try to move as quick as possible. Anyone else having this issue? Maybe a memory leak in the software? Here are my specs:

Mac Pro - Mid 2010
2 x 3.46 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon
64GB 1333 MHz DDr3 ECC
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 2GB
1TB mSATA SSD via PCI slot
2 6TB Software RAID Drives set at 0
OSX Mavericks 10.9.5 (latest build)

Have you tried quitting and relaunching Pro Tools?

The problems just keep piling up for me with this abomination i was forced to buy.

Its so slow when beat detecting drums. Pulling a region over to get rid of an artifact takes 20 seconds.

Im done with 12. It sucks!!!!
